Our Values

Expansion

I am capable of so much more than I know. I am open to growing and challenging myself, and I am open to believing this is only the beginning of my dance story.

Trust

I trust the process and I trust myself. I focus on my own journey and reach out to the Director when I need more support or clarification. I don’t give my teammates unsolicited feedback or corrections. I trust my teammates will receive the right feedback from the Director. If feedback isn’t being given by the director, I trust that there’s a reason for it.

If something from the Director feels inconsistent or unclear—whether it’s choreography or a correction—I voice it to the Director with kindness. I trust I will never be met with anger or judgment.

Honesty

This is a space for real conversations. If something isn’t working for me—physically, emotionally, or energetically—bring it forward to the Director. I am not expected to hold it all in.

Commitment

Practice and preparation are part of the commitment I am making to myself, my dance journey, and my dreams. If I don’t review or practice the material before I step into the next class or rehearsal, that’s okay—but I don’t carry that into class or rehearsal as frustration. I take ownership of how I show up and meet myself where I am with compassion and grace.
